Way back in 1999, I opened Oceanside Auto with my husband David. We have always valued being able to serve our customers and staff in ways that let them know they are appreciated and valued. My day to day responsibilities include accounting, business development & oversight, homeschooling our 3 boys and making time for sending a meal when someone is sick or making cupcakes for a birthday. With so much going on, clear internal communication is an integral part of my role at Oceanside Auto. Between growing our business, raising our family, and developing our community involvement, I stay pretty busy. Not only am I the Co-Chief of SCHEF - the local homeschooling organization - I am an avid Crossfitter.

I have been with Oceanside Auto since we first opened our doors in June of 1999. I have been blessed throughout the years to have met and been able to help so many great people and customers.

 

Mechanically, I am ASE Certified in Brakes and Steering and Suspension. I have also trained on Oxygen Sensors, Electrical System Management, Air Conditioning, Engine Performance, and Air Fuel Management. The most important part of my job is overseeing everyday events and making sure our service is at 100%.

 

In the winter, you can find me snowmobiling. I love to ride, especially with my boys. I also enjoy camping in the summer.

DAVID STEWART

I have been with Oceanside a little over 10 years - what changes we have been through! The main focus of my job is to keep Oceanside running smoothly and moving into the future while retaining our core values of excellent customer service, timely repairs done right, and honest work for a fair price. 

 

I am a member of the Automotive Service Association and the Automotive Management Network since 2007. I am also a member of the Young Automotive Networking Group. I have received training on Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, RO Writer, Alldata, Shop Key, ProPack, Telogis, and Mobile Manager. 

 

I enjoy baking, fishing, gardening, and kayaking. I love to spend time with my family and friends.

I began working with my Dad here at Oceanside when I was a very young man. Now, I am serving customers of Oceanside as the Service Department Manager. Helping customers is the best part of my job. I am an ASE Certified Technician in multiple specialties. I am also certified by WreckMaster, AAA Battery Installation Specialist, and a Certified Emissions Inspector for the State of Connecticut.

 

Biking, fishing, dirt biking, snowmobiling, and spending time with my wife and family are the interests that keep me busy when I am away from Oceanside.

Sam started at Oceanside Auto in August 2012. He likes being able to work with his hands and learn something new every day. He is a Certified Emissions Inspector. He also recently gained his ASE Certification for Service Advisor and is a Certified Emission Repair Technician for the State of Connecticut. Sam has also received training on Battery Applications and Installation from AAA. He also serves as the Ignition Interlock Installation Technician. Sam can help guide you though what can be a difficult process. Sam contributes greatly each day with his many varied tasks and utilizes his skills well. Getting the job done quickly and to the best of his ability is very important to him.

 

When Sam is not at work, he enjoys playing baseball, football, and going fishing.

Miss Eva is the most likely the first person you will talk to when you contact Oceanside Auto. She is our Customer Service Advisor extraordinaire! Eva is truly an asset to our team. Ever friendly and always willing to help, Eva has mastered the ability to juggle all the moving pieces of the front office. Her background includes work at a family dealership in Norwich, CT and many hours of dedicated service to her son's high school band organization. 

When not at Oceanside, Eva enjoys spending time with her family and taking road trips or heading out to see the latest movies. Eva is heavily involved in supporting her community through her work with the band and her church.

I started with Oceanside Auto in 2012. The honesty and teamwork of the business as a whole have really impressed me. I also like our company philosophy of putting the customer first. I am an ASE Certified Master Technician, have earned my Master Hybrid Technician certification, gained my State of Connecticut Emissions Repair Technician designation. I also have several specialized training certificates from multiple manufacturers and aftermarket vendors. I worked very hard to earn the highest GPA in Automotive Technology at Vinal Tech. Helping the customer and repairing the vehicle as quickly as possible while keeping it safe allow me to play a significant role here at Oceanside. I truly enjoy diagnosing a problem and getting it fixed quickly. Working in such a great environment is truly a pleasure.

 

When not at work, I like to ride ATVs and motorcycles and enjoy building and driving demolition derby and enduro vehicles. Dont be surprised to find me on my Playstation either!

It has been over 10 years since I started here at Oceanside Auto and no two days are the same. What does remain the same are the high standards at which this shop operates. Excellence in our field goes hand in hand with respect for each other. It makes working here fun and enjoyable even when jobs are stressful. My expertise in the field comes from my ASE Certification in Engine Repair, Suspension and Steering, and Brakes. I also have received training from Chrysler on Engine Performance and am a Certified Air Conditioning System Technician through IMACA. Performing the work safely and efficiently, diagnosing properly the first time, and limiting customer comebacks are the goals I work towards every day.

 

My son and wife are the most important part of my life outside of work. I truly enjoy spending quality time with them.

JASON BOREMSKI

Adam joined the team in early 2018. He enjoys the challenge of a fast paced shop with many makes and models to work on. He ensures each customer's vehicle is treated with the care and respect it deserves through thorough inspection, testing, and problem solving. Trained in multiple specialties and working on more, Adam provides a detailed picture of the solutions needed to get the job done right and on time. 

When not working at Oceanside, Adam enjoys spending time with his children, family, and friends.

Andrew Devin joined us in late spring of 2019. During his tenure, he has shown a great dedication to details, thorough repair, and organization. Skilled in engine repair, under-hood work, and suspension, Andrew is a well rounded technician. 

When not at work, Andrew enjoys tinkering on his many projects, learning about internal engine rebuilds, and spending time with his friends.

If you are greeted by a smiling friendly face when you stop in for an Emissions test, you have met Kevin Moore, our Emissions Technician. Ever courteous and always positive, Kevin is a joy to work with. He is always looking 2 steps ahead to provide an outstanding customer experience.

Kevin joined the Oceanside Auto team in early 2019. He has completed his State of Connecticut Emissions Inspector certification and now completes the majority of our Emissions tests. He also completes VIN inspections. Not only does he take care of our Emissions Test Center, he supports our Service Department by always helping out with a smile and an easy going attitude. 

Kevin enjoys spending time with his wife and completing home improvement projects around his home. Kevin is an avid music fan and can often be found expanding his musical horizons at concerts or shows throughout the area.

KEVIN MOORE

Jarrid came on-board back in the winter of 2017. With years of varied mechanical experience under his belt, he was a natural fit for Service. He enjoys facing all the different challenges his position brings each day. Getting folks back on the road quickly and safely are important to Jarrid. His easy going personality and level headed attitude help him get customers back to their day. 

Jarrid loves to boat in his off time. He has his captain license and enjoys spending time on the water with his family and friends.
